SBISD is excited to announce the release of the 2025-2026 Middle and High School Course Catalogs, now available online.

This year, the district is expanding its Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings, giving students more ways to explore career paths, develop essential skills, and become T-2-4 Ready—prepared for success in college and careers.

New CTE Opportunities for Middle School Students

Starting in 2025-2026, middle school students can enroll in a variety of CTE courses that lay the foundation for future careers. New offerings include introductory courses that start students in the pathways for Agriculture MechanicsAuto TechnicianBarberingConstruction and Welding—all in-demand fields with high-paying job opportunities. These hands-on courses help students develop technical skills and gain real-world experience, while preparing them for advanced coursework

Course Selection Made Easy

Selecting the right courses is key to supporting each student’s goals. We encourage families to review the Course Catalog together, discuss options, and talk to counselors about the best course choices. For 8th and 9th grade students, SBISD has created an easy-to-use worksheet. Campuses will distribute the worksheet to students directly.

To help students understand these new offerings, SBISD will host a presentation during student advisory periods. This session will provide valuable information about the CTE programs and guide course selection.
